The chase for the Hattons Solicitors National Conference League Championship hots up this weekend, with League Leaders Trophy winners Leigh East at home to Siddal in the Qualifying Final and Leigh Miners heading to Skirlaugh in the Elimination semi.

Leigh East’s Ledgard Street Ground is sure to be packed to the rafters for the East’s visit of the reigning Champions Siddal, who finished in second spot.

For the victors there will be an automatic path to the Grand Final at Widnes’s Stobart Stadium on Saturday May 22nd, whilst the losers will have the opportunity to try and qualify again with a home tie against either third placed Skirlaugh or fifth played Leigh Miners.

But that is down the track and Leigh East have no such thoughts as they look to do the first part of the job this Saturday kick off 2.30pm.

Following careful negotiation and the co-operation of Widnes Vikings RFC Ltd the League has managed to delay by two weeks the date of the Hattons Solicitors National Conference League Grand Final which will now take place at the Stobart Stadium Widnes on Saturday 22 May 2010 kick off 2 30pm.

By doing this there has been some slack applied to the final run in of League games which must now be completed by 24 April 2010 to allow a Play Off format in respect of the Top Six clubs to figure as follows:
